Our bright and airy Brewery Bar is open every Tuesday evening between 7pm and 10pm and every Thursday and Friday evening between 5pm and 10pm for a relaxing after work drink. We also open on Saturday between 11am and 6pm and Sunday between 12pm and 5pm, a popular destination as part of the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile. The Brewey Bar is the perfect stopping off place either on the way to or back from Maltby Street Market – you are very welcome to bring your food back to eat in the brewery.
We showcase up to 6 hand-pulled cask beers and 4 keg beers from our Big Bear Craft Ales range on draught. We will also have a range of bottled conditioned beers either to drink in the bar or take away.
The first Friday of every month is our popular Quiz night, with a fun pub-style quiz with the winning team winning a round of drinks. It starts at 7.30pm and it costs £2 to enter, and that entry fee goes towards our famous “Jackpot Round” where up to 5 people get the chance to attempt the Jackpot question, which can win big money! If no one gets a Jackpot question right, the money “rolls over” to the next month, and so on. Our record win was over £480! Contact us on 020 3302 4190
If you want a private tour or a corporate event, (minimum 5 people) the contact us at The cost is £18 per person and includes 4 halves. The tour and talk lasts about one to one and a half hours depending how many questions and covers the brewing process, the ingredients of beer, and the history of brewing particularly in London. Do you know the difference between Porter and Stout? IPA and Pale Ale? Come on the tour and you will!
Also, our Tuesday and Thursday sessions host our friends from the Running Club of London. A great bunch of athletes of all standards, from fun runners to Marathon Runners (and the occasional Triathlon!) There’s no complicated membership structure, and no one telling you what to do, just come along and do what you want, you will be welcomed. Using the various bridges of the Thames, a circular course can be of 5, 6 or 10K starting at about 7.15pm, with welcome drinks on the return. Find out more.
Our Brewery Bar is available to hire for private functions and events every evening. We have hosted birthday parties, quiz nights, corporate nights and even Delia Smith! Contact the brewery for more information. Tours are also available to the public on Thursday evenings at 7pm - 8pm and on Saturday's through London Brewery Tours. Visit for more details.
