But let’s just take a minute to outline the top five reasons why you should hire out Southwark Brewing Company for your private function.

We cater for all from Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties to Fundraising events and even club meet ups, everyone is welcome. We love hosting events of any kind here at Southwark, from 21st-60th birthdays we've had it all (including several Wedding Parties!). We even have room for live music should you need it. The brewery can accommodate 65 guests, and we can apply for a TEN (Temporary Entertainment Notice) to stay open later on the evening of your event (Please note these are limited and may not be available for your event)

It's not all about the beer. Believe it or not there are a select few who opt for an alternative tipple over our beer, so even though we will have our wide selection of fine cask ales and craft beers on tap as standard, we will also offer a selection of alternative drinks from cider and lager, to prosecco & wines. We also offer spirits and a selection of soft drinks for those not drinking. Our drinks are great value, so your guests won't have the break the bank! Drinks Menu available on request.

Our tap room is completely free to hire for your special event on a Saturday evening (we charge a rental if you want to hire during the week), all we ask is a £250 deposit, which will secure your booking. There is a £1,000 minimum bar spend, which as soon as it is reached your £250 deposit can be returned either as a bar tab or bank transfer. Please note that this deposit will not be refunded unless we can re-let the venue.

We take the stress out of organising your party, leave it to us. We can set up the brewery to your liking, making use of our tables & benches, or allowing room for dance floor, you have complete control, just let us know your needs and we can sort the rest. We are fully equipped with an amp and a jack lead allowing you complete control over the playlist, or we already have a selection of great playlists for you to choose from. We also have smoke machines and disco lighting to transform our taproom area creating the perfect environment for your event. Our prime location makes it easy for your guests to get to us, situated in central London, right on top of a handful of popular bus routes and an approximate 10 minute walk from London Bridge tube and train station.

Personal touch. We can offer a true personal unique event – from personalised banners and pump clips, to personalised beer bottles to take away. Great if you have a theme or would simply like to make a fuss of someone, we can stick their face on their favourite brew! We make it our priority from the moment you enquire right throughout the planning process and up till the day of the event to be here for you, to listen to your needs and make your special day the best! We will have a selection of our lovely bar team on board on the night of your event to look after you and your guests. You are welcome to bring along any food/cake to feed your guests. Whilst we can't cater ourselves, we do have contacts for various caterers who can come along and cater for you. There is also an abundance of restaurants located in the area, which you are more than welcome to order from and enjoy within the brewery! Corporate Events
We also can cater for Corporate Events on week nights. We have hosted AGMs, Team Building Exercises, Sales Presentations, Product Launches and Client Events. Every event is tailor made with individual presentations, tours, activities. From playing darts to pulling pints, this is what we did for near neighbour Hudson Fuggle. We even made them a special beer with Fuggles hops! So contact us with your requirements and we can pull together a tailor made package that your company/clients will not forget.
There is a small rental charge for use of the taproom in the week, it depends which evening you want (as we sometimes have to close to the public, which reduces our takings, so we have to cover this. It isn't anywhere near what pubs and hotels charge!)
